Modern principles of sustainable spatial development of innovative territorial systems in Ukraine

The article is devoted to topical issues of sustainable spatial development in the context of Ukraine’s European integration. The evolution of theoretical approaches to the formation of a modern model of sustainable spatial development is studied. The main concepts related to territorial and spatial development have been delineated. The expediency of introducing the concept of innovative territorial systems into scientific circulation is substantiated. The European experience of sustainable spatial development of territorial communities is summarized and systematized. A conceptual approach to the sustainable spatial development of the territories of Ukraine in modern conditions has been developed.
