The relevance of the research topic is explained by the fact that many mosques built at different times have survived in the cities of Iran, but most of them are practically unknown outside the country. The specific features of the Persian (Iranian) Islamic school of architecture lie in the multiplicity of cultural influences that manifested themselves not only directly in mosques, but also in madrasahs and mausoleums. Since the historical mosques of Iran used specific materials and structures, this requires special knowledge when carrying out restoration work

Актуальність теми дослідження пояснюється тим, що в містах Ірану збереглося багато мечетей, побудованих у різний час, але більшість з них практично невідомі за межами країни. Специфічні риси перського (іранського) ісламу Архітектурна школа полягає в безлічі культурних впливів, що проявилися не лише безпосередньо в мечетях, але і в медресе та мавзолеях. Оскільки в історичних мечетях Ірану використовувались конкретні матеріали та конструкції, це вимагає спеціальних знань при проведенні реставраційних робіт
