Статтю присвячено деяким питанням застосування методології структурно-параметричного геометричного моделювання в сучас-ному машинобудуванні. Обґрунтовано теоретичну та практичну актуальність зазначеної науково-прикладної теми. Головну мету даної публікації становить опис базових положень запропонованої методики раціонального комп’ютерного конструювання груп технічних об’єктів та проектування технологічних процесів їх виробництва. Наведено та проаналізовано відповідні приклади прак-тичного використання розглянутих прийомів моделювання стосовно механічного виготовлення деталей різанням. Обґрунтовано основні переваги цих прийомів порівняно з існуючими традиційними способами проектування технологічних процесів у машино-будуванні. Визначено основні перспективні напрямки проведення подальших наукових досліджень стосовно окресленої тематики.

The article is devoted to some questions of applying the methodology of structural-parametric geometric modeling in modern machine building. Theoretical and practical relevance of the mentioned scientific-applied theme has beensubstantiated. The main purpose of this publication is to describe the basic provisions of the proposed method of rational computer design of groups of technical objects and the design of technological processes of their production. The corresponding examples of practical use of the considered modeling tech-niques concerning mechanical partsmanufactured bycutting are presented and analyzed. The main advantages of these techniques have beensubstantiated in comparison with the existing traditional methods of designing technological processes in mechanical engineering. The basic prospective directions of carrying out further scientific researches concerning the outlined subjects have beendetermined.
