The results of the analysis of water samples of centralized water supply in Poltava city are presented. An investigation of their compliance with Ukrainian standards has been carried out. The comparison with the existing EU and Switzerland's drinking water quality standards has been performed. Conclusions on the influence of the non-compliance of some indicators with the norms on human health are made.
