| Анотація: | The paper considers gender balance ensuring in the Ukrainian IT field. Learning outcomes in STEM courses (math and physics) are analyzed as a background for the IT sector formation. The results of External Independent Assessment demonstrate 3% more successful results for girls than boys in STEM courses. In all cases, the distribution has a positive skewness. The dependence of the gender parity index on the IT-specialties and higher education level (positive ratio) is shown. The gender profile of IT field is made. Some brief recommendations are given to overcome the social stereotypes and gender gap. |
