Methods of data verification in residue number system, based on the nullification procedure = Методи перевірки даних в системі класів залишків, засновані на процедурі скасування

Abstract

As is well known, the main advantage or Residue Number System (RNS) usage if compared to the positional number system, is that RNS allows rapid implementation of arithmetic operations of addition, subtraction and multiplication. However, while solving one particular computational problem a necessity to implement operation result verification appears, i.e. there’s a necessity to implement the nullification procedure of non-positional code structure (NCS). Performing nullification procedure takes up to 90% of data verification time in RNS, requires considerable time, therefore it denies main purpose of RNS usage. Thus, the development of fast nullification procedure is a crucial task.
